With much sorrow, we communicate the sudden death of Fr. Antony Joseph SDB, INT PROVINCIAL, today
September 11, 2019 at 04.15 am at Kavery Hospital Trichy.
In the evening on 10 September he vomited blood for the second time, after his endoscopy and patching.
First time happened on 30 August for which he was treated and the bleeding was consequently stopped.
He was kept in the ICU for further observation….
During the second time of blood loss, his internal organs (liver, kidney) were severely damaged ….things got complicated due to non-treatable Hepatitis B.
The doctors declared him dead at 04.15 am.
There will be a REQUIEM MASS at the Provincial House on 11 September 2019 at 01.00 PM in the afternoon. The Salesians, Salesian Family Members of Trichy Zone will join for the mass.
The mortal Remains of FR. ANTONY JOSEPH, will be then shifted to Mary Help of Shrine at AMSAM, Trichy.
The FUNERAL MASS will be held on 12 SEPTMBER 2019 at 11 am in the morning….
