The Department of English at Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Keela Eral, organised an International Conference on Digital Humanities: Narratives, Literature and Cultural Transformations on 29th September 2025. It was coordinated by Fr. Thiviya Alexander, Assistant Professor, Head of the Department of English, and Conference Convener. The one-day conference brought together scholars, faculty members, research students, and learners from various institutions. It featured three insightful sessions led by eminent speakers:

  1. Dr. K. Deepshikha, Assistant Professor of English, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar – Digital Gaze: Cyberfeminism and Resilience.
  2. Dr. Sumathi K. Sripathi, Associate Professor, DMI–St. Eugene University, Lusaka, Zambia – virtual presentation on Culture and Cybernetic Consciousness.
  3. Dr. S. A. Sovya Shephyr, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Kristu Jayanti University, Bengaluru – Post-Humanist Narratives.

Nearly 150 participants attended, and around 70 research papers were presented by scholars, faculty, and students. The valedictory session included the release of the conference proceedings by Rev. Dr. Rajadevan. The first copy was received by Dr. M. Prabhu, Principal of Don Bosco College of Arts and Science.
