Obituary: Rev. Br. George Joseph SDB
The Salesian Province of Tiruchy regrets to announce the passing of Br. George Joseph SDB, who entered eternal rest on the afternoon of 27 February 2025 at Don Bosco, Amsam, Tiruchy.
Born on 03 June 1938 in Ulagampatti, Dindigul, to Mr. Soosaimanickam and Mrs. Irudayamary, Br. George dedicated his life to the Salesian mission. He made his first profession as a Salesian on 24 May 1962 at Yercaud and later took his perpetual profession on 24 May 1968 at the same place.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on 28 February 2025 at Mary Help of Christians Church, Amsam, Tiruchy. As we bid farewell to our dear confrere, we commend his soul to the Lord, praying that he may receive his eternal reward.
