The Annual Past Pupils meeting of Pastor Lenssen Polytechnic College – Kuthenkuly was organized in Chennai for the first time in the history of the college in an official manner. The meeting took place on 26 January 2014 in St. Mary`s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, George Town, Chennai from 09.30 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. On behalf of the College, Fr. Thomas Louis, the Correspondent, Mr. Prince Antony Joel, Lecturer of EEE Department, Mr. S. Selvakumar, College Placement Officer, Br. Gabriel and Br. Justin who are doing theology in Kavarapettai, Chennai were the main organizers of this Annual Past Pupils Meeting.

Sixty six Don Bosco Alumni (MunnalManavargalSangam) participated in the meeting which began with an inaugural address by Fr. P.J. Sebastian, from St. Mary`s Co-cathedral Church.

The following were the issues discussed in the meeting: 1. Net-working among the past pupils, 2. Net-working among the Companies and the PLP College – Kuthenkuly, 3. Scholarship fund for the poor students of the College, 4. Membership of Don Bosco Alumni.

In the morning session Mr. Prince Antony Joel gave an inspirational thought and Br. Gabriel animated the gathering with few short motivaitonal powerpoint presentations.

In the afternoon there was a common gathering in which Fr. Thomas invited those who wished to share their experiences with the others. It was a touching moment when many of the past pupils came forward and shared their experiences.  Some of them felt that they should do something for the college; some felt that we need to net-work more effectively; many of them felt that this sort of meeting could be conducted at least twice a year to know each other better.

The Pastor Lenssen Polytechnic College of Kuthenkuly, is grateful to Fr. Xavier Packiam, the Rector, Fr. Gregory,  the Headmaster and the community members for making all the arrangements for the meeting.
