The department of Environment of the Tamilnadu Government has recognized the green revolution and the green awareness programme initiated by the Don Bosco School Lalgudi. The School has ventured into tree plantations programme, clean up drive and other eco-based activities. The TN Government through the department of Environment has awarded the School with a cash price, through VOICE trust and NGC (National Green Corps). The award was given to the School through the District Educational officer’s office.
