On August 3, 45 students received the sacrament of Confirmation, administered by Most Rev. Archbishop Antony Pappusamy. This sacred event marked a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of the students, as they embraced their faith with renewed commitment and devotion.
The Archbishop’s presence added solemnity to the occasion. In his homily, he spoke about the importance of the sacrament of Confirmation as a moment of strengthening the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He encouraged the students to be steadfast in their faith, to actively participate in the life of the Church, and to live as witnesses to Christ in their daily lives.
After the sacrament, the Archbishop took time to interact personally with the students. He listened to their thoughts and aspirations, answering their questions with wisdom and compassion. This interaction not only deepened their understanding of their faith but also inspired them to take up their responsibilities as young members of the Church with enthusiasm.
The ceremony was a profound experience for the entire parish community, as they gathered in prayer and celebration to support the students in their spiritual journey.
