MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Don Bosco School of Excellance:The school is moving towards obtaining CBSE approval. At present there are 125 students in the school (Pre Kg 11, LKG39, UKG 31, I Grade 17, II Grade 16, III Grade 11). There are 8 teaching staff, 2 non-teaching staff and 3 care takers. The school follows the CBSE Curriculum, making efforts to standardise its teaching method and provide quality education.
SAYAL Reach-Out Programme : The community reaches the poor and the marginalised section of the locality through its reach out programme. There are 10 evening tuitions centres with 350 students. The community runs a drop-out prevention centre and there are 8 students. There is a tailoring unit giving training for 40 women. Efforts are taken to revive the Self Help Groups. At present there are 5 groups who regularly have their meetings and animations.
