DBSE SAYALGUDI celebrated its fifth Annual Day on 24th and 25th of February 2023 amidst splendour, mirth and zest. It was the most awaited program of the year. Fr Arokiaraj, the Member of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission was the Chief Guest and Sr Lucia Rose, The Principal of St Mary’s College Tuticorin was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Among the other dignitaries present were inspiring woman entrepreneur Ms. Mary Pouline, Founder and CEO of Sapience Publications, Tahsildar of Keelakarai and Municipal Chairman, priests, religious, parents and students. The principal welcomed the guests and shared the school’s achievements through the Annual Report of the past session. Meritorious students were given prizes for excellence in Academics.
The students who exhibited their talents in cocurricular activities were awarded with prizes and certificates. The Cultural program on the theme empowering excellence comprised enthralling classical, western and folk dances filled with hues and vibrancy in its energetic and foot tapping. Mind blowing mime with a message for the students were one of many commendable programs of the day.
