Don Bosco District Association organized a training programme for the Scouts, Guides and Cubs from 20 to 26 September 2018 at Don Bosco Youth Village, Keeranur, Tiruchy Province. It is a joint venture of SDB and FMA of Tiruchy Provinces. This was conducted as a preparation in view of the forthcoming 13th National Boscoree to be held at Nashik. The participants were given training so that they become qualified trainers. There were programmes, competitions, ground practices along with theoretical classes and input sessions. A day was set aside for trekking. The event culminated with a grand camp fire. During the valedictory function the trainers were given certificates. There were 62 participants for this training programme. The programme was organized by Fr. John Barnabass, in charge of Scouts and Guides of the Province.
