The Youth Mela for this year was held at Don Bosco, Varadarajanpet. Fr. Barnabas, the Province Youth Director together with the youth delegates, registered youth members and the Rector and the community of Varadarajanpet planned the details of the programme and extended their hard work for the success of this event. It was a memorable experience for the 250 and more youth of our province from many of the Salesian Presences.
The first day was joyful and enthusiastic with the various competitions like Rangoli, Breaking the Pot, etc. A huge rally was orgainsed in the evening to create awareness among the people. The second day was motivating and inspirational with the talk by Mr. Thirumurugan Gandhi and our youth participated in it with meaningful and challenging questions on the present scenario of the politics in our state.
